Vessel of the Final Breath

A vessel containing the last breath of a dying person. The nomadic Tarunians have a tradition, as they draw nearer to death, to create the vessel that will contain their own dying breath. On their deathbed, the vessel is turned over to a trusted friend. The duty of the one who receives the vessel is to safeguard it until they come to a place with good wind, where they unseal the vessel to release the final breath. Among the Tarunians, it is said that if the person has their last breath taken away by the wind, their soul shall freely wander the Rowen continent for all eternity in peace.
