"No money means no bread!" Treadwich's Bakery in Rigens Village shook with a deafening shout, and beggers scattered out the door. Treadwich was swinging his fists at the men, fuming. "That Treadwich guy is a real jerk. And yet kids and cats like being around him... Is he doing something we don't know about in some corner of the village?"

Story

As the hungry kids smelled the freshly baked bread and gathered around, Treadwich annoyedly portioned the bread and started giving it away. "Take this and go, little rats!" He yelled this grumpily, but the kids never stopped grinning and smiling. At the feet of the yelling baker, several cats tenderly rubbed their bodies against his ankles.
