Faith's Edge

Clue

"Our god would have saved us all from this misery if he existed." The man looked around the North Fort in Iceblood Plateau. Then he threw the holy book away and stuck the sword with the sacred oath inscribed on it into the frozen dirt. Father Sian made a mournful face as the man walked away.

Story

The priest of Sirius who sought out the defrocked associate of his could not believe his eyes. There was a creature, too appalling to be called a Human anymore, in this stench-filled place. Nakshun, the missing priest, stood up slowly from his perch and said in a grim voice: "Bow down to the real god! This is the only way to save Shushire and ourselves!"
