How to plan Lost Ark crafting batches, Gold and Action Energy

A Lost Ark recipe always makes a whole batch, so the number you want is rounded up to batches, and every crafted material inside the recipe is rounded the same way. Crafting 81 Trade Skill Tool Restoration Kits takes two 80-kit batches, 140 Gold of crafting cost, 9 hours of Stronghold Crafting and 2,592 Action Energy, and leaves 79 kits over. The Crafting calculator works this out for any recipe and lets you decide which materials to craft and which to buy.

Pick the item and the quantity

Search for the item you want to make, or open the calculator from the item's page. Type the quantity you want. The calculator reads the item's recipe from the game and shows the batch size beside the place it is crafted: one kit batch makes 80 kits in Stronghold Crafting. Where the game has more than one recipe for the item, each recipe has its own tab.

Read the required materials

Required Materials nests every material under the recipe that uses it. A kit batch needs 40 Tool Crafting Parts, so two batches need 80. Parts are crafted too, 30 per batch, so the 80 parts take three batches and leave 10 parts over. The three part batches need 66 Strong Iron Ore, 66 Sturdy Timber, 264 Heavy Iron Ore and 264 Tender Timber. The kits themselves add 52 Sturdy Timber, 160 Rare Relic and 256 Ancient Relic.

The totals on the left add all of it up: 118 Sturdy Timber across both recipes, the crafting cost of every batch, the Stronghold time and the Action Energy. Each material also shows how many market bundles cover it. Tender Timber sells in bundles of 100, so 264 takes three. Roster-bound and untradable items, such as the kits, cannot be bought on the market.

Craft or buy each material

Craft or buy on a crafted material lists every number of its batches you could craft, from all of them down to none, with the part you would then buy and the crafting cost of the whole plan. For the 80 parts the choices are 90 crafted and none bought at 140 Gold, 60 crafted and 20 bought at 120 Gold, 30 crafted and 50 bought at 100 Gold, or none crafted and all 80 bought at 80 Gold. Pick a row and the whole plan, its materials and its totals change with it.

Choose your region to see each material's lowest market price beside its bundles. Gold to craft then adds the crafting cost, every bundle you buy and, as a credit, the sale of whole leftover bundles, and the craft or buy table marks the split with the lowest Gold. Where the item itself sells on the market, Gold to buy shows the price of buying it outright. A material without a current price, or one that cannot be bought, leaves the Gold total unknown; it is never counted as free.

What the plan counts

The crafting cost, time and Action Energy are each recipe's base values. Your Stronghold effects lower them in the game, and a Great Success adds items; the calculator does not read your Stronghold or your inventory, so it counts base values and normal batches, and the materials list is what the recipe requires, not what is left to buy. Your plan stays in the page address, so a link opens the same item, quantity and choices.
